I am an avid fan of U2 and have been hanging in the U2Recording Yahoo group for a few months now. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learned there about playing U2.
As important as learning to play the songs, getting the Edge tone can be challenging and choosing the correct equipment is very important. Although you can approximate the sound with different effect units and amplifiers, it’s nice to know and actually hear what your options are and what others like you are using.
This site is a companion site of U2Tutorials.com , where there is a collection of U2 Guitar Tutorials. Here the focus is on the tone, rather that the playing part.
